  1. First of all please note that it is one  of  additional  archives  for
  2. Russian  Locale  System.  Please  download  from Aminet other archives
  3. called "RUS_xxx.lha".
  4.  
  5. All files from directory  "Fonts_Rus"  mustn't  be  copied  to  system
  6. directory  "Fonts".  Instead  you  must  create  additional  directory
  7. "Fonts_Rus" in root directory of your system HD and copy  these  files
  8. in it. For these fonts will be available to use you also must add next
  9. line to your startup-sequence or user-startup:

  11. Assign >NIL: FONTS: SYS:Fonts_Rus ADD
  12.  
  13. Some russian fonts have same names as english ones. So for system will
  14. be  able to use russian fonts you must delete or move english fonts of
  15. the same names from directory "Fonts".

  17. Also note that most of these fonts are for russian  DM  character  set
  18. which    is   used   by   "Rusifier"   commodity   (download   archive
  19. util/wb/RUS_main.lha from Aminet for details). Other fonts which  have
  20. "I" on the end of name are for russian 866 character set which is used
  21. in russian FIDO and in PeCee dos...
